According to The Block’s August 5 news, Ethereum network data indicated that one or more external participants executed the use of the option issuance platform Opyn, resulting in the loss of an unspecified amount of Ethereum (ETH). Observers speculate that those who use Opyn contracts can receive both ETH and USDC. It is not clear how much ETH may be lost, and estimates range from hundreds of ETH to more than 1,000 ETH. It is reported that the Opyn team has withdrawn the liquidity from Uniswap and is investigating the situation.
